💜 COMMUNITY SAFETY REMINDER 💜
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick community safety message following an incident on Thursday evening.
A young teen who is not connected to our studio came to us for help after feeling uncomfortable while walking from the nearby shops. She was welcomed inside and stayed safely with some of our wonderful NLDA mums until her parent arrived to collect her.
While there is no indication of any ongoing concern, it serves as a reminder for all of us to remain aware of our surroundings.
Most importantly, we want young people in our community to know that if they ever find themselves feeling unsafe, threatened, lost, overwhelmed, or simply in need of help while in the Broadway or Comserv Loop area, the doors at Next Level Dance Academy are open. We will always do our best to provide a safe place to wait, contact a parent or guardian, and ensure you are supported until help arrives.
We also want to make it very clear that this post is not a promotion for our studio. We are sharing this because we genuinely want young people in our community to know that there are safe places and safe adults around them if they ever need help. Sometimes all it takes is knowing where you can go and who you can ask.
It takes a community looking out for one another to keep everyone safe, and we are proud to be part of one that does exactly that.
Please look after yourselves, look after your friends, and never be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
💜 NLDA — More than just dance. A safe place, a second home, and a community that cares.
We truely hope the young girl is feeling ok 💜
