CLASS OF 2026 HALL OF FAME...........

SOUTHERN PITBULL

The first Death Match Wrestler from South Australia.

Southern Pitbull became the youngest Monster Factory student ever when he met Col Dervany in March 2001 at the young age of 13 years and 9 months.

He was one of Col Dervany’s favourite pupils, as he had a rough, old-style look and attitude about him, especially for someone so young.

Apart from Col Dervany, Pitbull was also trained by Tony Stone, Steve O’Neal, Rocky Menero, Jag and Havok.

He started his career under the name of Mad Dog and his first appearance at a wrestling event was in October 2001, when he ran into the ring and interfered in a match, attacking The Man Mountain.

His debut match was for PWSA in November 2001 at the prestigious Octagon Theatre, where he teamed with Chopper Coleman against the 7-foot Man Mountain in a handicap match.

He would later join a faction in MPW (Maximum Power Wrestling) called Heavy Duty, along with Cannonball Taylor, TJ Rush & Massiah. They feuded with John E Radic, Kinkaid, and Luke Hazad.

At the age of 15, he was featured in a front-page story in the Messenger newspaper, and that is where the schoolyard fights started.

Kids older and bigger than him would start fights with him and unfortunately for them, the kid known as Mad Dog came on top every single time. This solidified his tough guy reputation outside the ring, not just in it.

He had his first hardcore match at the age of 15 and that is where he would find his niche.

He would eventually change his name from Mad Dog to the Southern Pitbull and from there, he tore through his opponents in many different promotions around Australia.

Pitbull wrestled for PWSA, MPW, Joint Promotions, PWA-Adelaide, UWA-SA, RWC, Snakepit, Tornado Championship Wrestling and GZW.
Pitbull has won a handful of titles over the last 24 years.

He won his first championship in 2008, when he teamed with Kinkaid (Pure Anarchy) to become the Snakepit Tag Team Champions, and his last tag title reign was in 2016, teaming with WB Bellows (The Last Real Monsters).

He would also find success as a singles competitor when he won Tornado Championship Wrestling’s major title.

He has wrestled some of Australia’s biggest personalities over the years. Wrestlers such as John E Radic, Blarzay, Jag, Havok, Cannonball, Ace Wilson, Dragon Spawn, Mann Dozer, Luke Hazard, Jimmy Payne, and so many more.

He officially retired in 2018 but has since returned for special occasions such as the Col Dervany Royal Rumble.
But what he was most known for was his Hardcore Style of wrestling.
He wrestled in Adelaide's first-ever Barbed Wire Deathmatch and has been in countless dangerous matches, such as Chain matches, Cage Matches, and on one infamous night, he bled so much that the doctors at the hospital were amazed he was still alive!

We wish to congratulate Southern Pitbull on being inducted into the 2026 Class of the South Australian Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.

CLASS OF 2026 HALL OF FAME...........

DAISY CHAYNE

The First Lady of Pro Wrestling South Australia (Snake Pit).

When Daisy Chayne walked into John E Radic’s Training Academy in 2010, little did we know that a star was going to be born.

A combination of toughness, beauty and a love for her fans made her one of the most popular personalities in PWSA/Snake Pit ever.

Daisy started her training at Snake Pit Pro Wrestling in January 2010.

In a time when there were 5-6 females in the company, Daisy stood out of the pack.

Her first trainer was John E Radic, and then she would eventually receive further training under the wings of Zak Sabbath and Mike Boomer.

Daisy was tough and she proved it when training with the boys. Every time she would get knocked down, she would get right back up and never give up. This never-say-die attitude would serve her well in her post-wrestling career.

Daisy’s first match was in February 2011 at a Snake Pit Birthday Party event against Miki Fortune (The birthday party was for none other than an eight-year-old Calvin Bradford).

During her first few years, her main opponents were Miki Fortune, Blair Alexis, and Kira Sommers.

The fans loved Daisy. She was the most requested wrestler to have photos taken with, and her merchandise regularly sold out at every event.

As she grew into a polished female wrestler, she would eventually start battling some of the guys and getting some wins.

One of her major feuds in 2012 was against John E Radic & Blair Alexis. Their final encounter saw Daisy defeat Radic in a singles match at the WAR AT THE PORT event, giving her one of the most important victories of her career.

She has wrestled for only a handful of companies, such as Snake Pit, RCW, PWSA, and a few interstate promotions, but in every outing, Daisy made an impact.

Although she never won any championships, she did have some awesome career highlights.

Daisy was in the first-ever female Steel Cage Match, where she defeated Izzy Shaw.

After being crashed through a table by Michael Weaver, she teamed with John E Radic to defeat Weaver & Luke Veharan at the first SLAM MANIA.

Her four-year on-again/off-again feud with Miki Fortune included a Tables Match and a crazy hardcore match.

She teamed with Kira Sommers to defeat Matt Hayter and Adam Crowe in a memorable feud that saw Hayter dressed as Daisy and Crowe dressed as Kira.

Daisy demonstrated remarkable toughness when Kira Sommers broke her nose within the first ten seconds of their match. Despite the injury, she continued and ultimately won.

She lists her toughest opponents during her career as Miki Fortune, Blair Alexis, Izzy Shaw and “The Absolute Menace” Vixsin.

In late 2014, in a tearful Friday Night Fights event, Daisy announced her retirement from wrestling to pursue another career.

Her ambition was to become a Stuntwoman, and Pro Wrestling South Australia was the perfect springboard to achieve that goal.

In 2012, she joined the Australian Stunt Academy.

In 2014-2015, she moved to QLD to receive her stunt grading.

Part of her Stunt journey included:

Martial Arts/Stunt Training/Fight Choreography with SIFU Nino Pilla at Nino Pilla International Academy of Martial Arts
MOCAP training - Flinders University
Australian Stunt Academy
Horse Riding

And she also tested her toughness by playing five seasons of Ice Hockey.

Many millions have seen Daisy’s stunt work.

She started with the Racka Racka boys' short videos (Michael and Danny Philippou).
Marvel vs. DC ( Daisy played Wonder Woman, 76 million views)
Halo vs. Call of Duty - 52 million views
Walking Dead vs Last Of Us

Daisy’s stunt work has seen her apply her craft in some big-budget movies, performing stunts for some major Hollywood leading ladies.

Here is a list of movies that Daisy has appeared in:
Talk To Me
Cargo - Martin Freeman
Nekrotronic - Monica Belucci’s stunt double
Hotel Mumbai
Wanted featuring Rebecca Gibney
Escape From Pretoria - Daniel Radcliffe
I Am Mother - Hilary Swank
Daisy returned one last time and had her final match at PWSA in 2016.

Although she had a short wrestling career, she left a lasting impact on her fans and colleagues during that time and we are so very proud of what she has accomplished outside of Pro Wrestling South Australia.

We wish to congratulate Daisy Chayne on being inducted into the 2026 Class of the South Australian Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
