A LITTLE REMINDER… NORTHERN LIGHT THEATRE COMPANY IS TURNING 60!

Our 60th Birthday Celebration is getting closer, and if you haven’t grabbed your tickets yet… this is your sign!

We’re getting some of Northern’s past cast back together for a night of songs, memories, catching up and a bit of reminiscing about the shows we’ve all loved over the years. 💜🤍

Hosted by the one and only Rohan Watts and musically directed by the very talented Matthew Rumley, there’ll be some seriously good performances — including songs you might recognise from some of Northern’s much-loved musicals.

And of course… there’ll be a bar, cheese platters, (or you are welcome to bring your own supper) plenty of time to catch up with old friends and hopefully a dance floor that gets a bit of use! 💃🕺

While we’re taking a short break from all things Frozen, it’s time to turn our attention back to something very special… Northern Light Theatre Company’s 60th Birthday Celebration! 💜🎭

A huge thank you to everyone who has already submitted a performance idea. We have loved seeing your song choices , creativity and excitement coming through already!

⏰ This is your final reminder!

If you’ve been thinking about performing, reconnecting with old castmates, or finally stepping into the spotlight with that song you’ve always wanted to sing… now’s the time.

🎤 Solo, duo, trio or group performances are all welcome.
🎭 Revisit a favourite from your NLTC days or bring something completely new.

Northern Light Theatre Company is beyond thrilled to announce our April/May 2027 production…

✨ THE SA PREMIERE OF THE PROM ✨

Cue the glitter, the drama, the Broadway chaos and a whole lot of heart — because this show is bold, hilarious, heartfelt and absolutely bursting with love, acceptance and unapologetic joy. 💃🌈

From powerhouse vocals to larger-than-life characters and moments that will make you laugh, cry and cheer in the same scene… The Prom is the kind of musical that reminds us exactly why theatre matters. 💖

And trust us… this is going to be BIG. 👀

We cannot WAIT to reveal All the exciting details — including our incredible creative team, season info, auditions and more — All will be shared later this year, so keep your eyes on our socials and watch this space… because when the curtain rises on this one, it’s going to sparkle. 🪩💜
