Hello humans! Among doing my degree from home and starting a new job as a professional chocolate eater, quarantine has pulled a droplet of art out of me 🖌

This is a piece inspired by an incredible friend of mine whom I study environmental science with. Her favourite animal is a long-fin eel, native to New Zealand. The collage features scenes, animals, fungi and plants native to New Zealand. The plants I have pressed and adhered are kowhai, tanekaha, protea seed pod, rose petals and thread fern. The crystals are aquamarine.
