Echuca Bellas We are a vibrant choir of women who love to sing and create beautiful harmonies. Based in Echuca, we practice every Monday 7pm. No auditions. Come sing with us.

- To provide a safe, welcoming environment
- To have fun and to sing for the joy of it.
- To challenge the choir to improve the standard of singing.
- To perform as regularly as we can

About the Choir

Echuca Bellas ( formally Bella A’Capella) is an all-female community choir that has been in ex

istence for approximately 30 years. Bella currently consists of approximately 25 members who bring a wide range of skills and interests to the group. We are an incorporated organisation and have a management committee which overseas the organisational aspects of the choir. We love to sing a wide variety of music, mostly in 3 part harmonies. (Soprano, Alto, Tenor)

No audition is necessary to join the group as this is the community choir. Prospective members are very welcome to attend several practises before making a decision to join . Members are not required to be able to read music . Audio files and sheet music are provided . Sometimes songs are taught by ear. We perform publicly a few times a year for a range of reasons . We provide music for special occasions ie Christmas activities, Fundraisers for organisations, Aged Care performances. We welcome inquiries from any interested female singers.

The “Twins Choir” had a fantastic weekend. The Echuca Bellas were delighted to host the annual get together with The Colour Notes Choir.

We all know about “Sister Cities” but this was a Sister Choir. Marion leads the Bellas and her twin sister Karen leads The Colour Notes Choir.

During the weekend we performed songs to each other and learned a new song together. All singers enjoyed getting to know different warm ups, the different songs and the different conducting styles of both Karen and Marion - when we could work who was whom.

It all ended with a generous and delicious dinner. Followed by a mass sing-along. Some didn’t let the night stop there and continued the fun at karaoke.

We “cousins” enjoyed every minute of it.

It was such an honor to sing at the 2026 Anzac Ceremony in Echuca.

This ANZAC Day, we invite the Echuca community to stand with the Echuca Bellas and the Echuca Federal Band as we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served, those who fell, and those who continue to serve today.
