I bathed in the light of sunset gold.
Feet just inches deep,
where the sand and gentle waves did meet.
I watched a small boat turn the bend.
As day had sunk into night
slowly it faded out of sight.
Shadows that strike like a beating heart appeared downsteam.
They take away your worries and replace them with dreams.
Standing there just me.
eyes closed breathing deep, it is perfect to just be.
In that moment I couldn't of felt more free.
