Back in April the endlessly awesome Ma*****st came through Brisbane in support of their new record, Bloom. 4ZZZ hosted a show in their parking lot for them, and I got the chance to record the event. I didn't have time to properly plan the filming, so it's a shaky in-the-pit footage - but that ended up capturing the energy of the day pretty damn well.
This is the track "Heavy Dread" from their set, mixed and produced by myself, as well as having put together the video and little remix of "Crux" for the intro. Thanks to Josh Murphy for getting me in on this day, to Chaelee Benny for helping engineer the show and doing the live sound, and to 4ZZZ for hosting. Thanks to the other bands who played (Drudge, Dahlia, Queerbait & The Meat) and all who came along, and a big thanks to Ma*****st for working with me on this.
