Things are happening in the backyard area of Lost Eden and Garden Eats. The big timber deck and firepit was dismantled and removed at the start of the year with help from our Frenchy friends Johanna, Louna, Leo and Pierre, and of course our rock-solid mate and consummate fixer Trev. Now a big clean up to make room for our new Creative Workshops building. From next year we will be offering regular workshops in pottery, jewellery making, painting, natural textile dyeing and more. We have acquired a BIG kiln so the creative ceramic experience can be start to finish.
The new space will also have expanded toilet facilities in the original old laundry shed. This will allow us to implement our restaurant liquor licence, so you'll be able to have a cheeky drink with lunch; and we will also be able to hold functions and community get togethers in the new and improved garden space.
So now we begin; it's gonna be a bit exhausting, a bit frustrating, a bit messy, but at the end of it, it will be šŸ˜šŸŽ‰šŸ‘OH SO EXCITING!! We will keep you updated throughout the year.
Any creative courses you would like to see and do? Let us know in the comments.

Appreciation post and update.
We opened our doors at Lost Eden Creative over 6 years ago now and in this time we are so proud to have exhibited over 450 artist and held around 55 curated exhibitions…. Group and solo shows. We have hosted artists in residence in our cottage at the back of the gallery and supported music nights, opera, classical, country, bluegrass to name a few. We have cooked up a storm in our ever expanding kitchen providing long table dinners for weddings, private and community events….. the list goes on.
Personally I have had the absolute pleasure to get to know so many of the brilliant artists in our region, be inspired by their incredible work and stories. When I look back to all the exhibitions openings we have enjoyed, it fills me with so much pride, that we were able to pull it off in our little town of Dwellingup…. that people came and artists put their faith in us. What a privilege. It is now time for a new chapter at Lost Eden Creative and our growing journey with food and community. Our little cafe Garden Eats has become the centre of our community and so has expanded inside the gallery space. It is time for us to support our community with the beautiful food that Ebony and her team create. Creativity will always be at the centre of Lost Eden and our next faze will be to transform our rear space into studio/workshop areas….. stay tuned for more in this.

It is also time for me as an artist to concentrate on my practice again and I am looking forward to getting back into my studio

This Saturday we will be holding our last exhibition by incredible artists Stephen Eastaugh and Carolina Furque from 4pm till 8pm. Please feel free to come along on Saturday to celebrate this special event with us. More info on previous posts.

Lastly I hope you will continue to support and visit us into the future….

Thank you everyone !
Love
Monique, Peter, Ebony and Noah
Plus all the team!

We are pleased to present our last exhibition for 2025 featuring the captivating work of Carolina Furque and Stephen Eastaugh. I hope you can join us on Saturday 20th September 4pm until 8pm.

CAROLINA FURQUE and STEPHEN EASTAUGH will present a selection of new works. Carolina will exhibit a selection of black and white photographs connected with nature and landscape. In addition on the opening night ā€œI am no longer thereā€a new digital projection work will be screened for the first time.
Stephen’s work will include new mixed media works, works on paper from Fiji, and new sign works on wood.
