I create art with my hands from natural materials which has me slowing down enough to notice colour, texture, symmetry, scent and shape on my walks.

Creating with the Earth is so nourishing for me because it connects me deeper to myself (The earth is not seperate from who we are). The foraging feels less like “making art” and more like participating in nature’s own creative process.

We are nature expressing itself.
Patterns arranging patterns.
Life creating with life.

My personal Earth Altars are reflections of my inner world and this one feels very Ta**us season coded 🌸 Romanticising the senses, finding beauty in the tangible, creating from devotion instead of urgency.

Flowers from dirt under my fingernails, sunlight on my skin, creating for the sake of aliveness itself ✨

The same patterns echo through everything. We carry natures geometry in our bodies. Fractals repeating endlessly through cells, seasons, nervous systems and galaxies.

And naturally, these patterns spill into our art too.
Into the spirals we draw absentmindedly, the symmetry we’re drawn to, the textures we arrange, the shapes that feel beautiful before we even understand why.

When creating Earth Altars, nature becomes both the muse and the material. Shells, leaves, stones, flowers, seed pods, shadows and curves in the sand are all offering inspiration for designs that already exist within the language of the Earth.

When we connect with nature, put our bare feet on the earth, the body recognises itself in the patterns of the world around it. We are nature observing itself. Cells and stories and ancient intelligence woven into pattern and form
