The Dubbo Theatre Company is a strong and vibrant group of variously talented people evolving in 1957 as Dubbo Amateur Theatrical Society (D.A.T.S). We work as a cohesive team with a strong commitment to producing the highest quality theatrical productions, whether they be musicals, plays, pantomimes or gala events. New members are always welcome to join with us in the thrill, excitement and adrenaline rush that comes with live theatre.

We are incredibly honoured to have Dubbo Theatre Company and our recent production of Come from Away recognised before the House of Parliament by our local member dugaldsaundersmp

To have the dedication, passion and commitment of our entire theatre family acknowledged means so much. Bringing this beautiful production to life took countless hours from cast, crew, creatives, volunteers and supporters, and we are so proud of what was achieved together.

The rave reviews, audience support and now this recognition have made the whole experience even more special. Thank you, Dugald Saunders, for taking the time to honour our production and celebrate community theatre in Dubbo and thank you to our community for supporting the show. We were so overwhelmed with your support!

From the very first note to the final bow, these musicians are the heartbeat of the show—bringing energy, emotion, and precision to every moment. Their ability to seamlessly carry the story, elevate the performances, and create such a powerful atmosphere show after show is truly remarkable.
