Hey, Ya'll! I wanted to officially introduce myself and give you a little background!

My name is Spud Thompson.

I'm stoked to announce that I'm officially part of the Elusive Creative team as a full-time producer, recording engineer, and multi-instrumentalist! After juggling my 9-5 job with my passion for music for years, I'm finally taking the leap and giving my all to what I love most.

I've had the privilege of working with some incredible musicians like Sam Oconnell, Tom Millington, Ben Janzs, Sunday Lemonade, Rae Santos, Coco Michelle, Paradise Valley, and more. My forte is turning solo acts or duos into full-band sounds, thanks to my experience in playing multiple instruments.

On top of that, I've also been doing live sound for some of the most awesome bands at venues like Haba in Rye, Soundbar, the Pig & Whistle, Mordy HQ, Frankston RSL, and a stack of festivals! I'm grateful to be part of such a thriving music scene and can't wait to keep contributing to it.

But wait, there's more! I've been cooking up some fantastic tracks of my own, and I'm thrilled to announce that they'll be out later this year! Despite the pandemic challenges, I've been putting in the work, and I can't wait to share my music with all of you.

I've played in bands of all genres throughout the years, from Arcade Hero to Moonah Ripp to The Midwayers. And I'm excited to work alongside my high schoolmate, Clarky, to double the already awesome Elusive Creative vibe!
