REMINDER - Teen Drama starts tomorrow (28 Apr) at 3:30pm at the theatre (same venue as always).

Young Drama will start the following week on Monday (4 May) at 3:30pm at a new venue Uniting Church Hall, 7 Myrtle Street, Dorrigo (a temporary venue this term due to rehearsals for Chalkface at the Theatre)

Tony is one of the most celebrated Celtic guitarists on the planet — listed among the 50 greatest guitarists of all time by Guitar Player Magazine and hailed by guitar legend John Renbourn as the best Celtic guitarist in the world.

What makes him special is the way he plays — fiendishly dexterous, deeply soulful, and rooted in traditions stretching from Scotland and Ireland all the way to Quebec and Cape Breton. All of that on one acoustic guitar in a small theatre in Dorrigo. Pretty special.

Thank you Wyz Wimmin & Friends Theatre Company for bringing your wonderful show to Dorrigo. The audience was moved to tears and laughter, and we look forward to you visiting our wonderful town again! Congratulations on 10 years 🎉

The Wyz Wimmin & Friends Go To Dorrigo
Yay! We completed our tour after girding our loins to travel Summerville's Road to get to Dorrigo, but, hey, it was fine. No worse than other secondary roads in regional areas, so if you're thinking of heading up the mountain, do it.
The Gazette Theatre is perfect for our performances. Small and intimate, no sound gear needed, and the lighting/communications from the control room is amazingly high tech. The lovely CWA ladies provided afternoon tea, and as always, the CWA food was to die for.
We stayed at the hotel overnight Saturday and breakfasted at Components Cafe Sunday morning. It's worth the drive just for breakfast in this olde worlde cottage.
I am very proud that our small company took 'Play it Again' to Dorrigo after performing at Bellingen. Both audiences lingered afterwards to chat with cast and crew and the accolades are still making us float above the ground.
We thank every audience for coming to 'Play it Again'. Watch this space. We'll be back.

What a brilliant arvo Robyn, Margaret, and Suzi had at the Dorrigo Dramatic Club! It was a treat catching up with everyone. We had a laugh trying to snap a selfie with the Dramatic Club sign overhead—either we weren’t tall enough or the sign was out of reach, so we gave it a miss after a few giggles. That’s what being part of CWA Dorrigo means to us: enjoying good company, sharing plenty of laughs, and cherishing true friendship. 😍 Thank you. 🤩
