Donald BnS Inc. Community Grants Open This August
Following another hugely successful event in April, Donald BNS is once again giving back to the community through its new Community Grant Program.
Local not-for-profit organisations, clubs and community groups are invited to apply for grants ranging from $250 to $15,000 to help fund projects, programs, equipment purchases, events and initiatives that will benefit the Donald and surrounding community.
Over the years, Donald BnS has proudly reinvested event proceeds into a wide range of local projects and sponsorships. Previous funding has helped deliver the Giant Kookaburra, new seating around the football oval, colourful murals throughout the township, a free-to-use barbecue at the Donald Angling Club lake, fireworks at the Donald Show, new nets down at the Donald Jeffcott Cricket Club along with many other community group improvements and local initiatives.
Applications open on 1st August 2026 and close at 5:00 pm on 31st August 2026. Applications received after the closing time will not be considered. Only successful applicants will be notified by 30th September 2026.
