We’re proud to support our local community! Part 1

Tidal Moon, had the pleasure of ferrying the students of Useless Loop Primary School, along with their teachers and parents, onboard the 80-foot vessel Marine 2 to the school sports carnival in Denham. It was a wet and raining ☔️ 🌧️. Safety was a big priority and the crew took extra care of looking after the precious cargo 😁

Helping the next generation get where they need to go is just one of the ways we show we care.

Here’s to the kids, the teachers, and the whole Useless Loop community — go team!

A special thanks to Jock Clough Marine Foundation and Sean McNeair Alex Dodd

Join us in shaping a better future for the next generations.

Professor Michael Wear — Malgana Traditional Custodian, founder of Tidal Moon, and inaugural winner of the Prime Minister’s Prize for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledge Systems — is showing the world what’s possible when Indigenous knowledge and modern science work together.

Through his pioneering seagrass restoration and sustainable sea cucumber work in Shark Bay (Gutharraguda), he’s healing Sea Country, and creating livelihoods, through the development of human capital.

The Tidal Moon model inspire others, that caring for Country today is the strongest investment we can make in the future of our children and grandchildren.

That’s exactly why Global Citizen NOW: Perth (18–20 October 2026) matters so much. Taking place just weeks before COP31, this summit will bring together leaders from government, business, philanthropy, First Nations communities and civil society to accelerate clean energy access, nature-based solutions, and real partnerships that deliver lasting change.

Be part of it. Show up. Get involved. Amplify Indigenous-led solutions like Professor Wear’s. Because the decisions we make now will determine the world our future generations inherit.

A Bridge Across Oceans: Indigenous Knowledge in Collaboration

Special Weekend at Tidal Moon!

This weekend, the Tidal Moon Indigenous Crew had the honour of hosting our special guest from the USA — Professor Dan Wildcat from Kansas! A Yuchi member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and longtime faculty member at Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas

We welcomed him warmly and showcased the incredible journey we've been on over the past 9–10 years: from our culturally directed philosophy and the recreation of Australia's first trade, to our ongoing mission of restoring seagrass through the long-term development of human capital.

It was a powerful exchange of knowledge, culture, and vision for a healthier future.
Big thanks to Professor Wildcat for joining us and sharing his insights!
