There's a patch of stage here with your name on it...

We've had a few new people express interest in joining The Players, but we'd love to add even more names to our contact list. If you've ever been to one of our shows and thought "Hey, that looks like fun!" then get in touch, and make sure you like this page to see future updates.

If your interests are more behind the scenes, that's great too! The more people we know who can be called on for lighting, sound, set design etc, the better.

We've been mentioned in state Parliament! On 17th October our state MP, Brendan Moylan, delivered a Community Recognition Statement to the Legislative Assembly. Brendan noted, in part:

"I recognise the Deepwater Players on the longevity of their home-grown amateur theatre group, staging productions for more than 40 years... I congratulate all involved in this wonderful achievement, both past and present..."

"I commend all involved in the Deepwater Players, especially for taking the opportunity to raise money through ticket sales to give back to the community, supporting local groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations. The community spirit in Deepwater is certainly inspirational. We wish you all the best for your upcoming 'Uncle Jack' production, which we are sure will be a continuance of the group's many successes."

CLOSING NIGHT of "Uncle Jack", which has been very well received by all audiences. A huge thankyou to everyone involved, and to everyone who came to see the show! We'll be posting some photos in the next couple of days, and look forward to letting you know about our next production in due course. Meanwhile, stay tuned for other updates and news!
