Child Players ACT

Child Players ACT Child Players ACT is a family run children's community theatre group Child Players ACT has been running since 2005.

It is a family run children's amateur theatre group that has developed drama-based programs for children aged between 8 and 18. The main program every year is Child Play a six-month program for children aged between 10-18 to learn on stage and backstage roles finishing with a production in the October school holidays. Child Players ACT also runs a two-week school holiday drama program in January and July for 8-16 year olds, including a musical production.

This new space has been set up by a wonderful Canberra community theatre member Deb, who has created some gentle, one-hour creative sessions for school-aged kids/teens and their grown-ups. No experience needed, all materials are provided 💜
