🏁 25/26 Season Wrap-Up 🏁

Wow... what a season! We are absolutely stoked with how it all turned out and couldn't be prouder.

End of season results:
🥇 Lachlan – #1 for the season.
🥇 Tarrah – #1 for the season.
🏆 Tarrah also took home Most Improved Driver.
🏆 The Fish & Chips team was awarded Best Presented Team for the year.

What an incredible way to finish the season!

A huge thank you to Fish & Chips AKA Pete, Deb, Casey, Jane, Savannah, Larissa, Matthew, Liam, Kayden, Claridge Motorsport, Graeme, Nathan, Nikita all our family, friends and anyone else we have forgotten for either supporting us track side, online, looking after the kids, getting on the tools and everything in between.

May be the off-season and we thought it was time to pack the race suits away…

But PHProperty Bendigo had a dress-up party, and Casey and Gretel needed an outfit.
Lucky for them, the race gear fitted the brief some how on theme, so the suits got one more run before hibernation. 🏁

The disappointment due to no more go go…

This photo captures Tara Pretending she knows what she is looking at, but we all should know oil shouldn’t smell like fuel and all wheels and brake lines are supposed to stay attached. 🤷🏻‍♀️

After Tara heard the fire extinguisher she was out the window…

Well results from the Marg Beattie for Tara 😅

1st heat… DNF. 😂
2nd, 3rd, final… DNS

Ended up with:
broken brake hose
snapped arm
oil smelling like fuel absolutely EVERYWHERE out the top of the engine
and then decided to go Ricky Bobby and caught fire 🔥

Yeah… probably could’ve fixed it, but running without proper brakes and risking more engine damage didn’t sound like a brilliant life choice. Soooo… it became BYO passenger time 🤣

Pulled the belts out and jumped into the Rissole machine for the rest of the night. Always a fun ride with Rissole!

Managed to win the Hard Luck and Most Damaged awards, and scored a toolbox, a gift card plus some cash… so at least we came home with something besides burnt oil smell and trauma 😂

Huge thank you to the Chalcraft family and all the sponsors involved for continuing to make this event so special for the ladies each year. The goody bags are always amazing, and it’s beautiful to see so many ladies still turning up year after year to support the memorial 💜
