The disappointment due to no more go go…

This photo captures Tara Pretending she knows what she is looking at, but we all should know oil shouldn’t smell like fuel and all wheels and brake lines are supposed to stay attached. 🤷🏻‍♀️

After Tara heard the fire extinguisher she was out the window…

Well results from the Marg Beattie for Tara 😅

1st heat… DNF. 😂
2nd, 3rd, final… DNS

Ended up with:
broken brake hose
snapped arm
oil smelling like fuel absolutely EVERYWHERE out the top of the engine
and then decided to go Ricky Bobby and caught fire 🔥

Yeah… probably could’ve fixed it, but running without proper brakes and risking more engine damage didn’t sound like a brilliant life choice. Soooo… it became BYO passenger time 🤣

Pulled the belts out and jumped into the Rissole machine for the rest of the night. Always a fun ride with Rissole!

Managed to win the Hard Luck and Most Damaged awards, and scored a toolbox, a gift card plus some cash… so at least we came home with something besides burnt oil smell and trauma 😂

Huge thank you to the Chalcraft family and all the sponsors involved for continuing to make this event so special for the ladies each year. The goody bags are always amazing, and it’s beautiful to see so many ladies still turning up year after year to support the memorial 💜

Tonight is Tara’s last race for the season at Rushworth for the Marg Beattie Memorial!

Should be a cracker night of racing with the girls putting on a show and keeping everyone entertained!

Meanwhile Lachlan has been demoted to pit duties for the night… hopefully he can get some of Rissole’s special air for the tyres

NAGAMBIE SPEEDWAY 55 Lapper Weekend …

Unfortunately Sunday was cancelled due to the weather, so here’s a wrap up from Saturday’s racing! 👇

🏁 Lachlan’s Gold Rush Results
• Started 6th → Finished 4th
• Started 2nd → Finished 5th
• Started 7th → Finished 4th
Lachlan was set to start 23rd for the 55 Lapper based on points.

🏁 Tara’s A Mod Results
• Started 2nd → Finished 3rd
• Started 6th → Finished 3rd after a wire came off the fuel pump
• Missed the 3rd heat after the shocker decided to leave the chat during Lachlan’s 2nd heat 😅
Tarrah was awarded 3rd based on points…

Not the weekend we had planned, but we still came away with some solid results and plenty of laughs along the way!
