I haven’t wrote anything for awhile
You always told me to keep it up
write with passion and never lie
Write what I feel and what’s on my mind
Write about my memories and the rough times
Past present memorable rhymes
Note to self never stray
Always remember what dad used to say
Don’t give up and find a way
Speak your love and pain across that page
Don’t give a f**k about what anyone say
Heavens only an inch away
But if I could go just for a day
I’d have a list of things I would say
I’m so much older now
This life’s so strange
I got my heart broken
By someone I thought would change
I’m such a confident person
But I’m alone inside
My anxiety’s killing me
The demons come out at night
What id give to talk to you one more time
Your advice, your opinion and experience of life
Expectations ,your mindset and morals were always right
Whenever I need you I look up to the sky
I just wish you had the chance to see your little girl succeed at life
I love you dad and I’ll see you soon
Til we meet again I’ll take the guidance of the moon
