Refugee Week is now over and so is the World Music Festival for 2023! We can't wait to do it again next year and showcase the many cultures and art forms that we are lucky to enjoy in Darwin.

Are you coming to the World Music Festival this afternoon in Jingili Water Gardens?

Bring a mat or fold-out chairs to sit on, grab some delicious food at one of the food trucks and enjoy the show!

Doors open 3.30 for Welcome to Country and frangipani healing. Performances from 4pm until 9pm.

This is an family-friendly, alcohol-free event.

Come at 3.30 tomorrow to catch the Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony at the World Music Festival!

Nadine Lee is a proud Gulumerridjin (Larrakia) woman belonging to the Lee/ Cubillo family. Her Larrakia name is Birrimi-langa, named after the Larrakia Pearl Shell. Nadine will be doing the smoking ceremony.

Lucas James, Nadine's eldest son, is emerging in the Gulumerridjin cultural space. His interests include music and fashion and is an aspiring model. Lucas will be doing the Welcome to Country.

Performances from 4 to 9pm
Jingili Water Gardens, Rapid Creek
Bring a rug, chairs and our water bottles, check out the food trucks and enjoy the music!
