We presented a talk at High Score this year! We discussed cultural consent while creating Diets & Deities with our composer, Kuya James, and our cultural consultant and friend, Ben Tyler!

It was such a great opportunity to share our experience working with different cultures and we hope we inspired other game devs to approach different cultures in their work in healthy and creative ways! ❤️

We won Excellence in Music at the AGDAs! We are so honoured to share Diets & Deities with so many people and represent the NT! Our music truly highlights the incredible talent, passion, and creativity the NT industry has to offer and we can't wait for more NT games to be at the AGDAs!

We have been nominated for FOUR awards!

Us Larrikins are so excited to represent the NT during Melbourne International Games Week this October ~ The Australian Game Developers Awards (AGDAs) is a special yearly event that celebrates excellent games and we can’t believe our game Diets & Deities is standing shoulder to shoulder with the best!

Special thank you to all of our supporters and players for your energy and belief in this little (but mighty) NT team. To Screen Australia and Screen Territory (Jennie Hughes and team!) for backing this project - it truly is a moment to celebrate the amazing impact games development has on our emerging ecosystem - the talent we have here is barely uncovered and we can't wait to see even more NT stories represented on the big stage!

Thanks to the team at Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA) (IGEA) for coordinating Australia's annual industry events like the AGDAs, we will be seeing you soon!

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to showcase the music of Diets & Deities at Brown's Mart! It was an unforgettable experience listening to the amazing music and sharing our journey with others in such a fun space! Thank you Kuya James for being an amazing MC ❤️

Diets and Deities is a newly released PC game developed by Larrikin Interactive, an indie game studio based in Darwin. The Soundtrack was produced by Kuya James and Liam Budalasia and combines cultural instruments and sounds with electronic beats.
