“Knit Happens” with Lazy Crafternoons
Try your hand at knitting and learn about Yarn Bombing (aka knit graffiti). Suitable for experienced and novice knitters alike, this workshop will teach you the basics and have you adding to Chan's yarn bomb in no time. Join Darwin's indie crafting collective for an afternoon of explosive knitting, tea-drinking and good, old-fashioned fun. All ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. Saturday 17 March, 1-3pm
“AirDry Clay as a decorative medium” with Karen Roberts
Learn how to use Airdry Clay for surface decoration. Participants will decorate a frame using the clay and other embellishments, creating a unique art work. The skills learned can be applied to any surface. Expand your artistic practice and combine what you have learned with other art forms. Age >10, children must be accompanied by an adult. “Burlesque Basketry” with Aly De Groot
A basket making workshop with a twist!
