‘Sunset for two’ by Bobbi Lockyer for DSAF2026

This stunning new piece featuring two Black Cockatoos at sunset is part of the series that transformed Vimy Lane this year - and we are so excited to now have a Bobbi Lockyer piece brightening up the streets ❤️

‘Big Mob Storm’ by fullcoldblood for DSAF2026

This painting is a two-story high adaptation of FullColdBlood’s series of the same name, inspired by the monsoonal rains and lightning storms of the tropical Top End wet season - a concept he came up with during lockdown in Melbourne when he was missing home.

“I am deeply grateful for being given the opportunity to do my first mural in my hometown for the 10th anniversary of DSAF. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of talented and insightful artists alongside all those involved in the festival. I look forward to returning in the future ⛈️”

What a wall! This one makes up part of the new Charles Darwin University art trail at their Casuarina Campus, you’ll find it on Orange 4 📍🔥

‘The Small Things’ by Skye 𓆉︎ 𓇼 for DSAF26

“This piece is a reflection on slowing down and taking time to notice the small, often overlooked details of life on Larrakia Country. It speaks to presence, connection and the way meaning reveals itself when we move with care and attention. There is beauty in simply observing what is already here and in recognising that belonging is built through these small moments of noticing.
This work is a reminder that Country is always speaking - through subtle shifts, relationships and the spaces we often pass by too quickly to see.”

📍 Vimy Lane, Parap

This beautiful work is Skye’s first solo mural and makes up part of a new series of works from DSAF26 that have brightened up Vimy Lane!

Last week we launched our exhibition coffee table book ‘MARKED’ to close out the tenth edition of the DSAF.

We had James Mangohig on the decks, artists were signing books for people - and by chance we even found the owner of the car in our iconic exhibition / cover photo by Migs Ellaga - so he came and parked it for the book launch 🤣 We love Darwin ❤️‍🔥

We wouldn’t be here without the support of the community - so if you’ve loved the murals over the past 10 years, you’re really going to love what you see at our Northern Centre for Contemporary Art exhibition and in the ‘Marked’ book.
You can still get yourself one from NCCA while stocks last!

The team from Kellaborate laid this whole book out in TWO DAYS and ZipPrint Darwin NT had it hot off the press for us right when we needed it. Big love! 🫶

Not one but TWO new walls by Piper Kidd for DSAF26 🌺

“Inspired by the florals of the Nightcliff streets, the corners of Aralia street are now donned with the Australian natives and tropical flowers that decorate our beautiful neighbourhood and community.”
