And up next at KXT…

In a world of pe***ng, prolapses, and needing to p**s, Daddy Developed a pill is a surrealist farce set over one chaotic night of deviance and debauchery. A line-up of sixteen psychotic characters portrayed by only three actors means fast wit with even faster quick changes against a backdrop of an upper-middle-class identity crisis with mortal stakes. It’s Don’s Party meets Euphoria, meets an Apple keynote.

Snatched are proudly presenting Cassie Hamilton's new work Daddy Developed a Pill directed by LJ Wilson.

Our friends are working on something very exciting. Are you ready??

Everything But The Kitchen Sink Festival is Sydney’s newest and weirdest theatre festival housed in and around Marrickville’s Flight Path Theatre from 10-14 May! It is a cavalcade of storytelling, poetry, comedy, music, and visual arts with four shows performed as a series of triple bills over the course of the five days.

Pollon by Eliza Scott and produced by the Little Eggs Collective will make its triumphant return after a Sydney Theatre Award Nominated season at KXT in 2021. Pollon – is an interdisciplinary piece that explores resilience, memory and loss. It invites the audience to fall into a vortex of genealogy, grief and encounter the footsteps of experiences that we can’t seem to let go of.

Silenced written by Linda Nicholls-Gidley is a new work that asks how loud is your silence? It’s the year 2021, the world is in the midst of a global pandemic, and we are experiencing a new kind of silence; the streets void of activity, the echo of empty buildings, the muteness of zoom meetings. In the wake of this international crisis six women begin to speak. They share stories, they share truths, they share space.

Cherry written and performed by Sarah Carroll after a sell out season as part of Panimo Pandemonium, chronicles how Katy Perry helped one fangirl on a bubblegum, bisexual adventure to pop her cherry.

On an odyssey told through poetry, prose, and the greyness between the two, Papua New Guinean artist Lungol Wekina reconnects with his ancestors in his debut work a body is all that remains.

Panimo

Panimo is a new organisation co-founded by Jack Walton and Jodi Rabinowitz that aims to solve some of the most complex industry problems and try and make working as a creative as easy as possible.

Jack and Jodi are two interdisciplinary artists who have worked on a variety of different productions across Sydney and Australia generally. However, they couldn’t help but notice some fundamental issues that the industry seemed to be facing. So they created Panimo, a platform that helps established and emerging artists network, and aids the process of new artists breaking into the industry.
