S*x. Love. Toxic relationships. Sound like fun? We thought so!

Blinking Light Theatre has opened at KXT in Sydney with Maud Dromgoole's dark comedy that's a little bit right, a little bit wrong, and brought to life by two wonderful performers - Izabella Louk and Victor Y Z Xu.

Devastated to discover they’re having their first child, militant climate activists Daisy and Michael attempt to reconcile their views against the inevitable emissions of bringing a child into the world, and embark on a deranged mission to offset the baby’s carbon footprint.

Two unlikely lovers and a planet to save. What could possibly go wrong?

The Rogues are throwing their love and support behind a very special new production coming to KXT on Broadway this June... First, Do No Harm. Written by Grace Malouf and directed by Charley Allanah, First, Do No Harm is a thrilling drama about body autonomy, medical ethics, and the limits of familial love.

Before the curtain rises they need to raise just $7k to make it possible, and thanks to the Australian Cultural Fund if you can spare a coin or two or five, anything you can afford will give you a fabulous tax deduction (and it's a great time of year for that!).

They've already raised over 40% of their goal and with just a few days left in the campaign we're hoping we can help them get as close as possible to their goal.

First, Do No Harm arrives at KXT June 24 - July 4, presented by NIDA in association with KXT bAKEHOUSE and produced by Talia M-K.

It's our first recommend for 2026 and it's a doozy! Claudia Schnier has taken over the Loading Dock Theatre at Qtopia Sydney with her acclaimed one-woman show that has travelled the world and is finally in Sydney. Using puppetry, music, and physical theatre, Claudia dives into themes of OCD, coercive control, and the dynamics of power in a way that is as unsettling as it is unforgettable (and entertaining). ✂✨

There's only three performances left so if you want to see what it's all about get your clicky fingers over to the QTOPIA website and snap up a ticket or two. https://tinyurl.com/splitendstickets

It's the last week, and your last chance, to head to the wild wild west - COWBOIS closes Dec 13 and it's the kind of fun we all need to be having right now. With reviews like the one below (and plenty more like it) how could you not want to saddle up?

"Siren Theatre’s production ... an absolute visual delight, a whole lot of fun, and a poignant cry from the heart ... director Kate Gaul creates visual magic. The use of space is wonderful and the tableaux alone are spellbinding."

Looking for your next theatre fix? How about something that will make you laugh, like REALLY laugh? Playing until 13 December at New Theatre is a fast, furious and extremely funny farce, complete with excruciating misunderstandings, toe-curling narrow escapes, and high camp double-entendres. Delish!

Noël Coward's Present Laughter is a classic for a reason, and it just happens that the incredibly talented Lib Campbell (who you might remember from Female of the Species) is simply fabulous in it.

Tix are on sale at newtheatre.org.au and if you're on a budget check out their Thursday nights!

Just as Gravity closes we'd love to share another fun play that's on stage right now at New Theatre - Noel Coward's Present Laughter. A fast, furious and extremely funny farce, complete with excruciating misunderstandings, narrow escapes and high camp double-entendres, this is Noël Coward at his sparkling best.

The New's production features a Rogue that we adore, the fabulous Lib Campbell, who's performance has been delighting critics and audiences alike. Find out more and book tickets at https://newtheatre.org.au/present-laughter/

"Elmore presents characters who are intelligent – and this is the surprise for an Australian play – they can read! And they do. Not that the piece is overly cerebral. Far from it. It’s just that the characters in Gravity have an active interest in the written word – and actually discuss it!"

Paul Gilchrist at Theatre Red saw something in Gravity that we loved from the moment we started making it. The words we fill our lives with can also shape us. Thanks Paul!

Read the full review on his website and if a good book, or a good play, is what gives you the feels book some tickets. Only 6 performances of Gravity at QTOPIA Sydney left!

On the way to the theatre, my plus one asked if we were seeing a new play. I replied Yes, that considering the title, it must’ve been written at least post-1687, the year Isaac Newton published Phi…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Gravity is funny, touching, and deliciously surprising. It’s likely to make you think and reconsider any number of your ideas and life choices, and if it doesn’t, it’s possible you’re dead but just haven’t fallen over yet. Do yourself a favour and experience another way of defying gravity. "Di Simmonds
