it's been a couple of weeks since we finished up at Pride Fest, and the festival officially wrapped up at the end of the month - so we want to say a belated huge thank you to for having 'play.' and 'the worst of us.' and everything they do, to for providing us with such swanky accommodation, and to the sydney audiences for taking a chance on us! we had the best time and couldn't feel more privileged to have been part of this year's festival πŸ’œ

here are some of the 'play.' post show snaps, featuring the wonderful audience members who were so open to experience and play together πŸ“Έ

image 2: the back of the book is held up. it reads "what's the worst thing you've ever done?" in large handwritten font, and then the show's copy. at the bottom is the perhaps logo.

image 3: the book is held open, the foreword visible. it reads: "if i look back at everything i've ever written, there is this recurring idea of goodness, badness, monsters, villains. my biggest fear has always been being a bad person. simultaneously, for better or for worse, i have always believed everybody to be inherently good. β€˜the worst of us.’ is a response to a world that normalises violence through punishment, exile, and revenge; a world that demands we conceal, justify, or outright deny the harm we've caused others in order to maintain our 'goodness'. it’s also a love letter to the naive, hopeful part of me; the part that sees the light and the pain in everyone. it’s a promise to never stop. love, emmett."]
