𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘁!

The Dalyellup Jingle & Mingle Festival lit up Central Lakes Park on Sunday, 7 December, filling the air with Christmas cheer and festive sparkle!

What an incredible celebration it was, with more than 5,000 merry visitors joining in the fun under the sunny skies and surrounded by the park’s lush green lawns.

The whole park was alive with the magic of the season – twinkling decorations, joyful music, and the hum of families and friends coming together to celebrate.

Community groups, sporting clubs, market stalls, and local artists created a colourful Christmas village around the still lake, while delicious aromas drifted from food vans and festive treats tempted hungry visitors.

On stage, emerging local artists brought the crowd to life with festive songs, enchanting dance performances, and lively musical performances that captured the true spirit of Christmas. Their talent shone brightly, adding an extra sparkle to an already magical day.

Children’s laughter rang out like sleigh bells as they dashed between free craft and activity stations at the Southern Ports Craft & Activity Tent, whilst parents and grandparents wandered beneath the shady trees, soaking up the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season.

The atmosphere was simply magical – Dalyellup truly came alive with goodwill and togetherness.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 – 𝟮 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼!

Phew — it’s just around the corner! With only 2 days to go until Dalyellup’s Jingle & Mingle Festival, we’re shining a big, sparkly spotlight on the local legends helping make the magic happen.

𝗗𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗽 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯
Our first Volunteer Heroes! They’ll be helping with parking at Lawson Park for a gold coin donation (thank you!), and bringing the fun with soccer skills sessions in the park. Bring your gold coins along and keep an eye out for their friendly smiles and footy energy!

𝗗𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗿𝘀
These champions will be cooking up a storm with a crowd favourite sausage sizzle. Follow the smell of onions sizzling and you’ll find them!

𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯
Setting up tables and chairs so the community can sit, chat, eat and rest a while — and packing them away after! Their teamwork keeps the festival flowing smoothly.

These clubs give their time, energy and community spirit — the true heart of Jingle & Mingle. Let’s give them some love!

Tag your friends who should come along on Sunday and help us thank these amazing volunteers.

𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵: 𝟯 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼!

Good news — the forecast’s looking fabulous for Sunday!

Pack away those umbrellas — we’re not even whispering the “R-word” this year. Last year’s little weather hiccup didn’t dampen our spirits, and this year it’s all about picnic rugs, sunscreen, sunnies and a hat.

Expect sunny skies and day time temps around 22-24 °C (low to mid-20s) with clear skies stretching throughout the day. Cooler in the evening, so pack your favourite Christmas cardy.

So slip, slop, slap and bring your festive cheer — the sunshine’s ready – and so are we! Only 3 days to go!

The countdown is on for the Dalyellup Jingle and Mingle Festival, and this year we’re embracing the true spirit of Christmas — giving, hope, and community.

Each year, the Southwest Salvos hold a dream close to their hearts: that no one misses out at Christmas. To make that dream a reality, they rely on the generosity of local businesses, groups, and wonderful people just like you.

This year, we’re proud to support their Christmas Appeal at Dalyellup Jingle and Mingle.

You can help make a real difference by donating gifts, non-perishable food, or monetary contributions at the Salvation Army tent during the event.

Together, let’s bring HOPE to those who need it most — and show what the South West community is truly made of.
