Congratulations to Paige Moorfoot & Mathena Chan who were part of the winning South Western Golfing Association team over the weekend at the Victorian Junior Country Regionals, held in Terang.

Paige finished T3, and Mathena T9 in the Girls Individual, however it was the Mixed Team Victory that added silverware to their growing collections.

With only 15 girls taking part in the 100player field, it’s amazing that 2 have come from Curlewis, and we couldn’t be prouder of them both for continuing to take on the best!

Mathena (L), Paige (R).

Curlewis Open Champions!

Nicholas Crundall (69, -2) held off Chris Thompson (70, -1) to take out the Men’s Curlewis Open. Chris was going for a ‘three-peat’ but couldn’t quite get the job done. Whilst Nicholas finished with a back 9 33 to take out the trophy!

In the Women’s it was Charli Edwards (76, +3) that showed her class to finish on top.

We congratulate the Greens Team for providing an amazingly conditioned course for the week, with Open Week officially finishing tomorrow with a Pinehurst Foursomes.

We also thank all of the 500+ golfers who have attended over the past few days to compete in 2 Person Ambrose, Curlewis Women’s Plate, Irish 4Ball and the Curlewis Open.

Hole 1 | Par 4 | 292m
Every great round starts somewhere. Ours starts here.
A subtly challenging opener. The tee beside the water offers plenty of teeing options. Lay up short of where the fairway narrows for a safer but longer approach, or go past the neck for the reward, with trouble still lurking left. The large green slopes back right to front left, so attack back right pins with care.

FIFA World Cup 2026 FootGolf Special at Curlewis Golf Club
The FIFA World Cup only comes around once every four years, and while the world's best footballers are battling it out on the biggest stage, we're celebrating a little closer to home with a special offer of our own.

From 11 June to 19 July, Curlewis Golf Club is turning the spotlight on one of the Bellarine's most fun and family friendly activities with our FIFA World Cup FootGolf Special.

Every Sunday from 2pm, adults can play for just $15 and under 15s for only $10.

What is FootGolf?
If you've never played before, FootGolf combines the simplicity of football with the strategy of golf. Players kick a soccer ball around a golf course, aiming to reach oversized cups in as few kicks as possible.

No golf clubs are required and no previous experience is needed. If you can kick a ball, you can play FootGolf. It's easy enough for first timers, competitive enough for seasoned players and guaranteed to create plenty of laughs along the way.

Fun for All Ages
One of the biggest reasons FootGolf has become so popular is that it genuinely appeals to everyone. Children can compete alongside parents. Groups of friends can turn a casual round into a serious contest. Grandparents can join in and enjoy the challenge without needing specialist equipment or years of experience.

Sundays 2pm
11th June to 19th July

Adults: $15 (normally $25)
Under 15s: $10 (normally $15)
