Yesterday after an early start, I headed off along with Michelle White for the drive to Gawler. We were the invited designers for the day at Cynthia's Ark retreat ‘Totally in Stitches’ in the Hewitt Centre at Gawler. It was such a fun day, caught up with familiar faces & met some new ladies. The venue was in a lovely spot near a creek we even spotted a family of eight little ducklings 🦆 Cynthia was well organised had a great band of helpers & the food was plentiful. My project for the day introduced the ladies to a little Sashiko with several designs to choose from. Thank you for having me ❤️

Congratulations to Di (in the red) who was this years lucky winner for the Sewing Explorer Trail.
She has hit the road today with some lovely friends to revisit our shops to spend her vouchers. Have a fun day out ladies 👏👏😊

I’ve had a lovely few days away spending time with special friends at Craft Alive checking out the Festival of Quilts display & of course all the craft stalls 🛍️ 😊
I was thrilled to share a win on 2 quilts both in the 2 person category. 3 quilts were entered by my client Helen who was very excited to win a first & a second place. Helen also won a special ribbon ‘ Retaining the Tradition’ on Childs Play’
I was also happy to spot a finished quilt by Denise from a class I taught at a SAQuilters workshop awhile ago called ‘Spinning Spokes’

Thank you 🙏 it was great to have the ‘after dark’ group visit my studio this morning. Thank you also to SA Quilters for providing the grant to cover the cost of the bus making this trip possible 👏👏👏 Hope you also had fun & filled your bags visiting Genevieve Kadina Craft and Sewing Centre & Cynthia Cynthia's Ark

Today is the launch of Tilda’s lovely new collection called ‘Something Blue’
Unfortunately my website is having technical issues today, of all days 🤷‍♀️
In the meantime while we work on the problem behind the scenes here is what I’ve made using mostly the dark & light blues from this collection. So so pretty 😍
