2014 sees a new vision for the Dorothy Cowie School of Dancing with a state of the art studio facility catering to senior and adult students. The new studio provides us with a chance to extend our adult and senior program in all genres, and our newly created 'DC Crew' whom we are ready to recruite for special functions and events. The studio was designed with dancers in mind, with sprung floors, m

irrored walls, barres and cutting edge audio and visual systems. Senior students will be catered for in Open classes in all genres as well as ATOD syllabus and examinations in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. The studio hosts performance classes 'by invitation only' at a Senior level in all genres - Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. The Academy's purpose is also to cater for adult daytime and evening classes, but at the same time be creative and introduce students to specialised classes and teacher training programs. The Disney Troupes use the Academy as their 'home' for weekly lessons and performance showcases during the year. The DC Academy of Dance is located at: 4-6 The Strand, Croydon. There is extensive parking near The Strand both outside the Imar Community Hall and also next to the train line, accessed through Paisley Road.

We are a dance school, offering classes from Toddlers to Adults, in a range of genres, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Yoga, Pilates and Exercise classes.
