[Post 2 of 2] Every portrait in ‘Faces in Places’ started with a conversation. 👩🏻🎨 Here’s a look at the artists, pictured alongside the sitters who inspired them and the portraits that came out of it.
Each pairing was completely random, and no two interpretations looked alike. Some leaned into bold colour, others into fine detail, others into abstraction, but every single one carried something of the conversation that shaped it.
Swipe through to see the artists, their sitters, and the finished pieces side by side. It’s one thing to see the portraits on the wall, it’s another to see the person who made them and the person who inspired them, together.
📍 On display @ The Nest Cafe, Crows Nest, now until September 26.
