Meraki Dance Academy is committed to following guidelines for managing a COVID safe business in line with Queensland Health recommendations. We ask all family groups to observe social distancing whilst on premises, & ensure students wash their hands or use the hand sanitiser provided prior to commencing class. Guidelines and SD markers will be in place to assist both families and students in drop

off / collection, and for minimising contact during classes. Any family member or student who is unwell is unfortunately not permitted within the building under the COVID safe guidelines. As part of being a COVID safe business MDA is also required to keep a register of all attendees inside the premises.

About Meraki Dance Academy

Meraki Dance Academy is the finally realised dream of founder Heather Newcombe; to open a dance studio focusing on imparting the love of dance, matched equally with teaching sound technical training and developing well rounded & expressive performing artists.

Heather has been a passionate dance teacher for over 13 years, and is dedicated to always expanding her knowledge of best training practises and ways to develop confidence and expression through dance. She chose the name ‘Meraki’ as an expression of her own connection to dance that she wants to pass on to her students.
