HUSH | 1984, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2018

HUSH brought his signature style directly to the gallery, creating these one-of-a-kind skate decks in situ. A rare glimpse into the energy, layering, and immediacy behind the work.

Now on view — come experience it in person.

OPENING | SACRED CIPHER

Thank you to everyone who made it to the opening of HUSH’s exhibition Sacred cipher last night.

“At the core of his work are enigmatic female figures—captivating muses who embody both strength and grace. These women, rendered with an almost sculptural presence, evoke the elegance of classical statuary while simultaneously existing within a contemporary, layered pictorial space”

THE LAST OF THE SUMMER BLUE | OPENING TOMORROW

‘Blue poured into summer blue,
A hawk broke from his cloudless tower,
The roof of the silo blazed, and I knew
That part of my life was over.’

“While the artist endows each object with self-reflexive meaning and significance, he neither imposes nor insists upon his personal viewpoint. Rather, the beholder, cocooned within the intimate safety of the painting, is invited on an aesthetic journey with the artist, free to formulate their own interpretations, form their own connections, and project their own emotions”- Excerpt from Catalogue essay by Eugene Barilo von Reisberg (Gallery Director)

SONIC NETWORK NO 22 | Opening tonight

Lennox St. Gallery is pleased to announce Sonic Network no 22, an exhibition of recent paintings by John Aslanidis opening tonight from 6pm to 8pm.

John Aslanidis’ monumental artwork ‘Sonic Network No. 22’ measuring nearly five meteres across is an immersive exploration of the intersection between visual art and sound. Known for his dynamic, large-scale, abstract paintings, Aslanidis uses vibrant, pulsating color patterns to evoke the sensation of rhythm and vibration, reminiscent of musical compositions. The piece’s concentric waves of color create a sense of movement and depth, drawing viewers into a hypnotic experience that echoes the structure of sound waves. ‘Sonic Network No. 22’ is a testament to Aslanidis’ ability to visually represent the invisible frequencies of sound, bridging the gap between the auditory and visual realms.
