What a radical time we all had at our sold-out concert "The Mixed Tape" over the weekend at Belmont City College! A big thank you to all our friends, family and supporters who lip synced and rocked out to our tunes! We're so sorry (not sorry!) for rick-rolling all of you too 😜

Thank you so much to our outrageously awesome band Rick Webster , Leigh Miller, and Dan Harrison on guitar, bass and drums. A huge thank you to accompanist Glenn Hogue on piano on stage and through the season. Thank you as well to Mia Brine and Harry Oliff for helping us through the rehearsal season.

To the PUCS committee, all our concert helpers, and everyone singing their hearts out on stage, we couldn't have this much fun without you. And the fantastic Sarah Mills Menogue who helped fill the music with the spirit of the Live Aid concerts. And in the spirit of giving and charity, our concert fundraising efforts raised $600 for No Limits Perth which would go towards their hard work in helping the vulnerable and at-risk.

And as always, a thank you to the UWA Conservatorium of Music for their continued support during the semester.

We're hard at work at rehearsal to bring you our fantabulous concert PUCS: The Mixed Tape, together with our outrageously radical band with Rick Webster on guitar, Leigh Miller on bass, Dan Harrison on drums, our super trusty accompanist Glenn Hogue on piano, and of course Sarah Mills-Menogue at the front! We can't wait to share with you what's on our MIXED TAPE!

Proceeds from our fundraising during the concert will also go to No Limits Perth, a NFP charity in Perth's northern suburbs dedicated to providing essential services for the vulnerable and those at-risk.

Last year, your kind and generous donations had maintained the momentum for the Intervarsity Festivals and helped make Canberra IV (held earlier this year in January) such a success. We'd love to keep this love for music performance going for Queensland IV next year!

This is your opportunity to show your support for a particular choir, or to support the ongoing work AICSA provides for its affiliated university choirs and Intervarsity Choral Festivals.

Want to hear the sounds of voice in buildings all around Perth? Together as part of the City of Perth's Boorloo Heritage Festival, PUCS will be joining more than 20 other wonderful choirs at ANCA's Singing in the City.

See us at Forrest Place at 1pm, and then at Gilkisons Dance Studio at 3pm with a rocking selection from our upcoming concert!

Head down to the Perth CBD on the afternoon of Sunday 19 April to hear over 20 WA community choirs singing in various locations and heritage buildings around the city.

As part of the Boorloo Heritage Festival 2026, ANCA WA presents our annual and much loved, 'Singing in the City.'

The afternoon runs from 12-5pm, and features a Gala in Forrest Place at 3pm.

We've got PUCSters making their way to Canberra for the IV Choral Festival, performing the Brahms Requiem at Llewellyn Hall at ANU with a full orchestra! If you have friends or family in Canberra who might be interested, help share the word!

The Canberra Intervarsity Choral Festival 2026 and Canberra Festival Orchestra present a celebration of life and death, continuing a 76-year tradition of Australian University Choral Festivals.
