Join us on Saturday October 10 as Brookfield Place Perth once again transforms into a jazz playground for one huge night of live music!

🎶 From 4pm to midnight, follow the music through The Bridge, Print Hall, Small Print, Bobèche | Perth’s Best Cocktail Bar, The Heritage | Award-winning Perth Restaurant, Bob's Bar and LUPES CERVECERIA, with jazz, soul, funk, Bossa Nova, roaming brass and late-night grooves around every corner.

New York jazz, up close in Perth 🗽🎙️
After years immersed in New York’s jazz scene, vocalist Olivia Chindamo and pianist Matthew Sheens return home with Putting It Together, an intimate meeting of voice, piano and storytelling at the Liberty Theatre.

Chindamo made history as the first vocalist to complete Juilliard’s Master of Music in Jazz Studies. Alongside Sheens, expect remarkable musicianship, effortless chemistry and a performance that brings the intimacy of a New York jazz club to Perth.

👋 Ray Walker!
This October, WA jazz legend Ray Walker brings his Common Ground Suite to Liberty Theatre, joined by the Ray Walker Nonet, Jon Hunt and WAAPA at ECU 🤝

More than 30 years after it was first composed, this landmark work returns to the stage with some of WA’s finest jazz musicians for a very special night of live music.

🤝 50 years of Australia–Japan friendship. One seriously exciting celebration of Japanese jazz!

This October, we’re bringing a double dose of boundary-pushing Japanese talent to Liberty Theatre 🎷⚡️

First up, 🔴💊🔵💊. The New York-based synthesiser virtuoso has recorded with Kamasi Washington, Lauryn Hill and A Tribe Called Quest, carving out a sound where jazz, hip-hop and electronics collide ❤️‍🔥

Then, Japan Jazz Nights brings together two of Japan’s most exciting acts for one special double bill: pianist and Rolling Stone Japan “Future of Music” artist Misaki Umei 梅井美咲, alongside powerhouse supergroup .

From coffees to cocktails, sax to soprano, Subi came alive with the sounds of jazz!

The inaugural Subiaco Winter Jazz Trail delivered exactly what we hoped it would: a weekend of discovery, unexpected performances and incredible local talent, all in the heart of Subiaco.

A huge thank you to See Subiaco and the City of Subiaco for bringing the trail to life with us, to every café, gallery, church and pub that opened its doors, and to the brilliant WA musicians who filled every corner with music 🎶

Saturday brought the sunshine, the sounds and the good vibes to Subiaco! From the groove of The 950 Marching Band at Subi Square, to Sofie Kerr Duo’s at Bar Amelie, the exceptional musicianship of Harry Mitchell & Allira Wilson, Stepping Stones’ atmospheric sounds at St Andrew’s Church and the contemporary grooves of Kristian Borring Trio at Quello Bar – what a day! 🎶

And we’re doing it all again TODAY! 🌞

Come soak up the warm weather, wander Subiaco and enjoy a Sunday soundtrack of FREE live jazz all day. Jazz, sunshine & great vibes. See you in Subiaco! 💛
