Ketepikau Maori Framed Maori Art Hi, my name is Renee Smart and I originate from the beautifull Rangi Point on the northern shores of the Hokianga harbour.

I accuired my weaving talent from my mother Nellie Smart who was an acclaimed Maori weaver in her own right. I make Maori/Kiwiana art in the form of miniture Kete, Korowai etc, using feathers, flax, paua shells and carved maori taonga in shadow box frames. All the finished products are designed and handmade personally by me and can be made to order. No finished product is exactly the same.
