At Spin-A-Yarn we welcome all crafters to come and enjoy their craft and have a cuppa, a cold drink, morning tea or lunch with other like minded people. If you love macrame, scrapbooking, embroidery, tapestry, card making, cross stitch, jewellery making, quilting, beading, crochet, knitting we are the place for you and your crafty friends or groups

Spin-A-Yarn was created out of frustration with

the lack of shops and crafting places by 2 long time friends who saw a need for a more personal and friendly environment to purchase nice quality yarn, somewhere you can go and see and feel what you are buying

Not only is Spin-A-Yarn a specialty store, it now has online shopping. Craft groups – crochet, knitting, card creation, quilting etc can book the space to come together to work on projects and socialise. Spin a yarn is also a place where people can come and teach their craft skills to others, please contact us for further information. We look forward to meeting you and growing a wonderful business for all to enjoy as our dream comes true.

As we wrap up our amazing Mystery Knit Along (just wait until you see the incredible shawls everyone has knitted… they are absolutely breathtaking! 😍), it’s now time to get those crochet hooks ready because…

🎄✨ OUR CHRISTMAS CROCHET ALONG IS COMING! ✨🎄

And this time… WE’RE NOT MAKING A BLANKET! 👀

For our Christmas CAL, we’ll be creating MOSAIC CROCHET CHRISTMAS TREE SKIRTS! 🎄

There are TWO gorgeous designs to choose from, so you can:
🎄 Choose one design
🎄 Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, make BOTH! 😍

🧶 CAL DETAILS

📅 Thursday daytime sessions: Starting 8th October
⏰ 11am – 1pm

📅 Friday night sessions: Starting 9th October
⏰ 6pm – 8pm

📆 The CAL runs for 10 weeks

💰 $60 for one pattern
➕ $10 extra if you’d like to make both designs

Each week you’ll receive the next section of the pattern, and we’ll be here to help you along the way. There’ll be plenty of crochet, Christmas spirit and hopefully, lots of finished tree skirts ready for Christmas! 🎅🎄

A few important things:
🧶 You must be able to do mosaic crochet
📖 You must be able to read a crochet pattern
📋 Bookings are essential, as we need to purchase your pattern/s for you.

💻 CAN’T MAKE IT IN STORE?

No problem! You can join us online too! 🙌

Your pattern will be emailed to you, and you’ll have access to a group chat and our private CAL Facebook group where you can ask questions, share your progress and get help along the way.

Tracey L has certainly had her hands busy lately, creating not one but TWO gorgeous projects!

💜 First up is this stunning Hexi Cardi, made using Fiddlesticks Superb Prints — such a beautiful combination of colour and texture!

🎁 And then, as a special birthday present for Rosemary, Tracey made this gorgeous piece using Panda Crypto Unicorn in Tunisian crochet. How beautiful is this! 🥰

🍽️ FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER SPECIAL 🍽️

It’s Friday night, and we’ve got a delicious new dinner special waiting for you! 😍

This week’s special is our Creamy Chicken Alfredo Bake with tender chicken, potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, all baked together in a deliciously creamy Alfredo sauce. 🤤

And don’t forget, our regular dinner menu will also be available, so there’s plenty to choose from!
