Best wishes to all at Girgarre Moosic Muster decisions not made lightly. But all about safety. Congratulations for the organisers and many volunteers who will ensure all patrons are safe and on their way prior to catastrophic conditions on Friday. There will always be someone who is not happy with a decision. But your risk assessment plan will swing into action and you know you are making the right decision at the time. Kudos to you. Be strong and stay safe! Our thoughts are with you.

Last gig today....huge week of sharing our charity work to our aged care facilities on and off The Island and other not for profit groups. Considering our average age is 75 plus we are indeed proud. Age is no barrier! FELIZ NAVIDAD, MELE KALIKIMAKA

Aloha! Just letting you folk know, 2025 is a year for reflection and regrouping for our festival and for myself personally.
With fresh, enthusiastic blood, 2026 is going to bring something really special and different to Phillip Island.
Just working with a local accommodation provider to set a date and the logistics.
Anyone who has run a festival will know this is always a challenge.
Stay tuned!
We have not gone away...super busy with our charity performances at Aged Care, RSL etc this year.
Look forward to sharing our 2026 weekend date when we have our ducks all lined up!
Look forward to welcoming you all back to Phillip Island in 2026.

We were a bit nervous whether it would make it to her on time, but the planets aligned and we received this beautiful photo from Evie's mum. Phillip Island & Bass Coast Ukulele Festival in case you did not know: Island Ukers (no we don't have a FB page) Our group on Tuesdays is @ 22 members since the 2023 festival. Our Thursday group @ 29. This group play for fun and social contact. Tuesday group perform for free @ local aged care facilities, Carols, Di & Jodie have done kids holiday school program and now our group have teamed up with a local theatre group: Lighten Up Theatre. We use the local Rotary rooms which are free for NFP groups, but we all contribute weekly gold coins (and more) donation. We fund 3 local school breakfast clubs. These two groups make me proud. Island Ukers and sponsorship support this weekend is the only reason this event could have possibly been held in 2024. Thank you so much my uke friends!
