Okay, we have been keeping a little secret... and we're SO excited to finally share it! 🤩

This Term 3, our Ready Set Dance classes are heading off on a Jungle Picnic Dance Party with Emma Memma! 🧡🌿🎶

We already know our little dancers are going to absolutely LOVE this one. Think music, movement, imagination, adventure and all the fun that comes with a jungle picnic.

The best part? It will all be happening during our regular Ready Set Dance classes, so every week will bring a new piece of the adventure.

We seriously can't wait to see our preschoolers dancing, singing, exploring and having the best time.

The countdown is on... just a few more sleeps until An Afternoon of Dance!

One of our favourite events of the year, AOD is about so much more than dancing. It's an opportunity for dancers to get up on stage, celebrate their progress and experience the excitement of performing in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Making friends is one of the biggest things parents hope for when their child starts an activity.

But friendships don't usually begin with a conversation.

They start with sharing a circle, taking turns, learning together, laughing at the same silly moment, and seeing the same familiar faces each week.

Dance gives children the chance to practise these little social skills in a fun, supportive environment where connection happens naturally. Before long, the child who stood quietly on the sidelines is waving excitedly to friends as they walk through the door.

Confidence grows. Friendships grow. And sometimes, dance becomes the highlight of their week.

How cute are these little faces?

This photo was taken years ago when Miss Mady was still fairly new to the CM Dance teaching team. Fast forward almost five years and she's still sharing her love of dance, encouraging students, and helping them grow both in and out of the studio.

What makes this photo even more special is that some of these dancers are still with us today. They've gone from tiny dancers learning the basics to confident young people who have grown up together through dance.

It's one of the things we love most about CM Dance. We don't just watch children learn dance steps, we get to watch them grow into beautiful humans too.

Acro Dance is such a lovely mix of strength, confidence and determination… with plenty of laughs in between.

What if I don’t fit in?
What if I get it wrong?
What if everyone else already knows what they’re doing?

But sometimes all it takes is one class, one kind teacher, one new friend… and suddenly the question changes.

What if I love it?
What if I improve every week?
What if this becomes my safe place?
