Did you know that acting is about so much more than performing?

Through games, storytelling, movement and imagination, children learn to:
🎭 Build confidence
💬 Communicate clearly
🤝 Make friends and work as a team
🌟 Express themselves creatively
🎶 Learn through play

Our NEW Set the Scene Junior classes are the perfect introduction to drama and creative performance for children aged 4–7 years.

One thing we love most about these classes is that we intentionally keep them small. Smaller class sizes allow every child the opportunity to participate, share ideas, build confidence and receive individual encouragement from their teacher. It creates a safe, supportive environment where every little personality has the chance to shine.

Already have an older budding performer?

Our Set the Scene classes for 8+ students continue on Monday and Thursday afternoons with Miss Emily, where students continue to develop their performance skills, creativity and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment.

✨ READY SET DANCE is coming to JINDABYNE! ✨

We’re so excited to be bringing Australia’s leading preschool dance program to JINDABYNE!

To celebrate, we’re holding a FREE Come & Try Morning on Tuesday 21st July at Horizons (upstairs near the pool area).

💜 Ready Set Move (Ages 1–2.5 years)
🕦 9.15-9.45am
A fun, parent-assisted class designed to help your little one build confidence through movement, music, sensory play and imaginative activities. It’s the perfect first step into the world of dance while creating beautiful moments together.

💜 Ready Set Dance (Ages 2.5–5 years)
🕘 9:45–10:15am
A magical class that combines jazz, hip hop, singing and music, all designed especially for preschoolers. Every class builds confidence, coordination, creativity and a lifelong love of movement, all while having so much fun!

Leading the morning will be Miss Lani and Miss Kala, two passionate teachers with extensive experience in both dance education and early childhood learning.
They can’t wait to welcome your little ones into class!

Our goal is to offer weekly Tuesday morning classes in Jindabyne, and we’d love you to come along and experience what Ready Set Dance is all about.

A brand new term is just around the corner and we can’t wait to welcome both new and returning families to Monaro Dance Centre.

Whether your child loves to dance, sing, act, imagine or simply move, there’s a place for them at MDC.

🎭 Set the Scene Junior (Ages 4–7)
Designed especially for our younger performers, this exciting new class combines storytelling, music, movement and imagination to help children build confidence, communication skills and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.
Led by the wonderful Miss Lani, it’s the perfect next step for little performers who love to create and express themselves.

🦁 Ready Set Dance Families... we’ve got something extra special!
This term we’re bringing the Emma Memma x Ready Set Dance Jungle Picnic Dance Party collaboration into our preschool classes!
Get ready for music, movement, imagination and plenty of jungle adventures as our Ready Set Move, Ready Set Acro, Ready Set Ballet and Ready Set Dance students experience this exciting new program throughout Term 3.

💜✨ What a performance ✨💜

Our 2026 Mid-Year Concert was a celebration of everything that makes Monaro Dance Centre so special.
From our youngest dancers stepping onto the stage with courage, to our senior students inspiring the next generation, every performance reflected the hard work, confidence and friendships that have been built throughout the first half of the year.

To our incredible students, thank you for sharing your passion with us. To our dedicated teachers and helpers, thank you for making the day so memorable. And to our wonderful families, thank you for your endless encouragement and support.

We hope you enjoy reliving some of the magic from the show. 💜

Step into a magical Winter Wonderland these school holidays with our Ready Set Dance Holiday Workshop at our Cooma Studio! ✨

❄️ Dates: Tuesday 7th July & Wednesday 15th July
