Nicky G is all about poetry, and aims to inspire people to face their fears of public speaking; believing spoken word is the perfect space to build confidence., and do just this.

Nick has been writing poetry since 1988 and performing since 2010, making it to the final of the Australian poetry slam that same year. Since then he has
gone on to perform at various festivals, corporate events, schools, live musics gigs and naturally, countless poetry slams.

He is the Creator and MC of Liquid Lyrics Poetry Slam which has been running on the Sunshine Coast since 2019.

Levi VanderAa's passion for music is contagious, infusing every performance and facilitation with energy, charisma, and heart. At 32, Levi is already a seasoned creator, having co-founded 'VanderAa' and touring both internationally and nationally for 8 years. His deep understanding and passion for sound make him a powerhouse in the music industry, always eager to share his expertise with audiences and collaborators alike.

Levi lives and breathes the collaborative nature of music, whether he's working one-on-one with students or facilitating group sessions. Performing, creating, producing and sharing music, as well as lending his expertise to numerous artists on the Sunshine Coast and beyond, Levi’s breadth of knowledge thrives in both intimate and large-scale environments. Constantly striving for growth, he seeks to evolve as an artist, undertaking projects and continual refinement of his skills, along with working alongside other mentors and artists to deepen his craft.

Levi’s journey extends beyond music, touching on areas such as animism, egalitarianism, environmental activism, spirituality, technology, and much more. His holistic approach to life and creativity makes him a truly multifaceted artist.

As the co-caretaker of Studio sociaal, the home of Being Human, Levi has been instrumental in transforming the space into a theatre, collaborating generously with Nick Grivas (Creator & Star) and Cory Potts (Lighting Design & Soundscape Producer) to bring the production to life. We are profoundly grateful for his unwavering support and vision.

Levi’s role as Audio Engineer & Technical Production for Being Human will elevate the production to new heights. His ear for sound and his mastery of production will undoubtedly enrich the experience for everyone involved. What an honor to have him as a pivotal part of this journey.
