Coolum Theatre Players

Coolum Theatre Players Since 1988, Coolum Theatre Players has been entertaining audiences with live theatre shows.

Coolum Theatre Players has been an integral part of the local community since its inception in 1988 following the Bicentennial Concert. For the past 35 years we have performed, in the Coolum Civic Centre, a myriad of popular musicals, cabaret shows, pantomimes and plays involving adults and youngsters. We acknowledge that the youth are the future of live community theatre with their new ideas, con

cepts and ideologies. And it’s not just creating the stars on stage, but the musicians, crew behind the scenes, backstage management, lighting, sound, front of house and projection technicians. Our motto is to raise the standards of live community theatre across the Sunshine Coast. With some budding talent shining through, combined with an energetic committee and professional directors, audiences can be assured that Coolum Theatre Players’ shows will be amongst the best on the coast.
