A rag-tag group of quirky, diverse, mis-matched female soldiers, stationed at the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces “Camp Firebird”, must band together to stage a morale-boosting Parade Drill to impress a visiting general. It all goes horribly wrong when it becomes a variety show, while the team navigate military mishaps, personal dramas, and the absurdity of army life.

Calling All Directors

Coolum Theatre Players are seeking submissions from Directors for their first season in 2027.
Auditions can be held in Nov/ Dec 2026 or January 2027 with performances in April.

It is expected that the Season is made up of 5 or 6 performances in April. (to be confirmed)

2 x Fridays (16&23) at 7.30pm, Saturday 17 @ 7.30pm and Sunday 18 with the final performance Saturday 24 .
Rehearsals are held on Monday nights (7.30pm-10pm) and Wednesdays (6.30pm-9.30pm). Other rehearsals can be arranged depending upon Civic Centre availability.

Coolum Theatre Improv - Bingo - Rebus (Picture Trivia)

Improv
Get your team together and compete against others in a knockout competition.
3 rounds - with the grand finale at the end.
Have you got what it take to outperform the rest.

Teams are drawn randomly for the First Round
2 teams (of 4) compete against each other, with the winner going forth to the next round.
You will have 2 minutes to strategize, grab some props and get on stage for 3 minutes, to make an impression, get the audience laughing and win their vote.
You need to make the audience love you way better than the other team.
They are the voters, and every vote will help you through to the next round.

Bingo & Picture Trivia
In between rounds of Improv we are going to be rolling out the other Games and maybe a song or two from our talented members.
Everybody can play and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Grab your mates and create a team - Limited to 16 teams.
Grab your mates and come along as a support crew and join in with a hilarious night of entertainment.

Teams (of 4) - $100
Individual - $25 (No concession prices this show)
