Photos don’t do our Grand opening justice, the attendance was above and beyond anything anticipated. Thankyou Cooktown for supporting us 😍 and witnessing the unveiling of the Amazing, wonderful garden which Martin Patty has created, thankyou Matty, we were very lucky to have you, and to run with the vision we had for the garden, you’ve generously given much of your time and plants and magic green fingers, we can’t thankyou enough… truly.
Our lovely garden showcases sculptures by students facilitated by Shelley Burt and Suzie de La Rue through a RADF grant, for teaching and plinths, which are dotted through out our lovely garden… who put 110% into tutoring, and supporting all those who participated in the sculpture workshops which has been going on for the last year. These very lovely first time students who’s work was displayed lastnight have put sooo many hours and days and weeks into making their wonderful original creations, thankyou, Bec, Kerry, Ori, Waratah, Emma, Mazz, Rachael, Michael, Bernie and Margy for your mammoth effort producing your wonderful works of art, we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy, you made the Sculpture Gardening Open Amazing…
