Journaling in the Snowy Mountains to remind me of what it felt like to be there, surrounded by such vast differences in beauty. From the striped colours of the mountains, the yellow, gold & green canopys of Gum Trees, to their barenes, to the tallest and fatest of Pine Trees. Australia mixed with a tiny bit of Canada ❄️

One of my first oil paintings on canvas paper painted for my best friend’s Mom. Not sure why I’ve still got it, but it’s one of the few I still have from childhood, so I’m grateful. I think I was 9.

I remember a shop (I believe), named Cole’s in Devonshire Mall in my hometown that had quite a few art supplies and the now, old painting tutorial style books you could get. The boxes of pastels I can still see as I glanced over all the amazing materials. Happy memories 🍀
