The Cradle Coast Orchestra CCO provides opportunities to play classical and other orchestral music with fellow music lovers

The Cradle Coast Orchestra is the only orchestra in North West Tasmania. It provides community musicians 12 years and older with the opportunity to play classical repertoire in an ensemble. It was founded by Lynne Price as the City of Burnie Orchestra in 1990. Its conductors have been Liza Marshall (1995-1997), Moria Pava (1997-2006), Andy Farrell (2006-2013) and currently Robert Bentley. The orch

estra collaborates with local ensembles and community groups, participating in many local events. All amateurs 12yrs + and semi-professionals are always welcome to play with the orchestra (strings, woodwind and brass). Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at Cooee Memorial Hall, 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
