HAPPY FATHERS DAY 💙👔

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads, uncles and male role models who support our dancers every step of the way. Your encouragement, lifts, backstage help and unwavering cheer mean the world to our studio family. 🤍

Today we also honour the biggest dance dad of them all, Lawrie Kirkness. Husband to Miss Margaret, father to Miss Belinda and “Poppy” to Miss Tahlia, Miss Amelia and Miss Arielle, Lawrie paved the way for so many BSD dance dads and continues to inspire us with the love he gave his family and our studio.

We remember him with love, and thank every father figure in our community for shaping our dancers’ journeys. 🫶🏻

Our Kindy & Year 1 Homeschool Dance Class is now taking Expressions of Interest for Term 4, with classes running every Monday from 10am to 11am!

Our Year 2 to Year 5 Homeschool class is already running every Monday from 1pm–2pm, with spaces still available!

NATIONAL CHAMPION 🏆

We are bursting with pride for our incredible Clara, who took out first place in the Sub Junior Hip Hop National Championships in Brisbane this month!

At just 10 years old and the youngest in her age group, Clara brought pure energy, enthusiasm and confidence to the stage, and it showed.

A special thank you to Miss Amelia for choreographing Clara’s winning routine and for her wonderful support throughout Nationals.

What an incredible achievement! To place 3rd in Senior Hip Hop at the ATOD National Championships is something to be so proud of.

Sophia, your hard work, dedication and passion for dance continue to shine every time you step on stage. Balancing full time school, dance training, mentoring and teaching our younger BSD dancers, all while preparing for your HSC Trial exams, makes this achievement even more remarkable.
