We recently reconvened our Advisory Committee and welcomed new members Aleshanee Kelso and Natalie Frijia, who join Harley Mann, Amrit Gill and Mitch Jones. 🎪

We love hearing from our community and collaboratively exploring the challenges and opportunities shaping Circus Centre Melbourne. This committee is just one of the ways we’re building conversations, sharing ideas and helping shape the future of CCM alongside artists and our wider community.

NEW Artist Classes: Pilates ✨

We’ve launched Pilates classes for Open Training artists at Circus Centre Melbourne, led by contemporary dance and floorwork artist Hayley!

Designed to support strength, mobility, recovery and longevity, these classes are tailored for the demands of circus training and performance.

Short Q&A with Hayley:
1. How would you describe your Pilates teaching style?
Flowing, creative and purposeful. Presented with warmth, built to challenge.

2. What do you enjoy most about teaching Pilates?
The adaptability. Everybody is different, every demand is different. I love being able to support people across that full spectrum, from everyday movement and wellbeing to highly specific, performance-level physical needs, through purposeful movement, breath and body-mind connection.

3. What are you most looking forward to about teaching Pilates classes for circus artists?
Stepping into a new community. These artists are already extraordinary in what their bodies can do and I’m excited by the prospect of finding new ways to complement and deepen that, helping them build a consistent practice that supports their longevity and allows them to show up even more fully in their craft.
