I’m absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for the Sculpture Prize in this year’s !

My piece, “Ancient Insects”, has been selected for the exhibition. When it emerged from the kiln, I remember thinking, “Well… that’s a pretty unique object. Definitely something only my bug-obsessed brain could have come up with.” So to have this work recognised and included in the prize means a great deal to me.

The exhibition opens on the 23rd of May. There are some incredible artists shortlisted this year, so please check it out if you can.

Here are a few snaps of my favourite ceramic piece from Born of Earth Bound for Wing. This hand built ceramic vessel was inspired by Christmas beetles.

Sadly I don’t see them around much any more, but as a kid these coppery green beauties would always seem to appear just in time for the Summer school holidays. I was delighted to spot one last summer, but sadly he was the only one.

Many thanks to for these super fun shots. I now have a whole collection of photos of me dancing with pots 🤣.

And a huge thank you to all the fabulous folks who visited my show. It was so lovely to see you all and get to chat to friends old & new .

I had the absolute pleasure of spending some time with the brilliant & lovely this week. She stopped by the studio to capture some process shots of my work, in my last week of my residency .

Although I often think about it, I rarely take process shots, or photos of myself! It has been wonderful to have someone so talented take the time to do this for me. I can’t thank you enough xx you’re the best!

Oh and just a reminder, the end of residency show opens on Sunday at 2pm at the . I hope you can make it .🐞

I am absolutely loving my winter residency at — it’s proving to be a space for experimentation, play, and creative growth.

The residency has given me the freedom to explore new ideas, leading to an evolving body of multidimensional stencil works and a renewed passion for sculptural ceramics.

Each piece is inspired by the small but vital creatures we often overlook — bugs and insects — whose existence quietly sustains our world.

I’m thrilled to be sharing the outcomes of this journey in a final exhibition titled
“Born of Earth, Bound for Wing.”
Join me for the opening on Sunday, August 24th at 2pm — I’d love to see you there.

Huge thanks to , , and for this opportunity and support.
