8-10 y.o. Girl with Eastern European background

We are searching across Australia for an 8 - 10 year old girl with a Slovenian (or possibly Eastern European) background to play the lead role in a beautifully written new feature film ‘Moja Vesna’.

Our actor will speak English as a first language, and will be required to learn some lines in Slovenian.

Shooting In Melbourne, April/May 2021. Role paid @ MEAA rates.

GRACE is a short film set in Mosul in the early 2000s. It is the story of Grace, a young Chaldean girl, and her father who wants to keep her safe.

We are looking for Melbourne-based Chaldean speakers to play GRACE (6-8 y.o.) and her FATHER (30-45 y.o). No acting experience is required.

This film is directed by Brian Patto, an Iraqi-born Chaldean. It is based on true events.
