Beethoven was a rebel. He was deaf and yet still found a passage towards the creation of music. Beethoven was not held back by the supposed limits of a physical reality and the apparent implications such disabilities would have. He found a language that was his own and yet remained universal. It’s great to think that our strongest faculties can exist through the negotiation of our most obvious and apparent weaknesses. ☺
