To every dancer who has ever thought, βIβm not good enoughβ, I wish you could see what I see.
As dance teachers, we see so much more than pointed toes, straight legs, beautiful turns and perfect technique.
We see the child who walks into class despite feeling nervous.
The dancer who keeps trying, even when something doesnβt come easily.
The student who celebrates someone elseβs success while quietly working towards their own.
And the little moments of courage, resilience and determination that often go unnoticed.
I believe wholeheartedly in helping children grow. In challenging them, developing their technique, encouraging discipline and helping them discover just how capable they really are.
But thereβs something I hope every dancer understands along the way.
You donβt have to become a better dancer to become worthy of your place in the room. You already belong.
There is always room to learn, improve, work harder and achieve more. And Iβll be right there encouraging you to do exactly that.
But your ability will never determine your value. π§‘
Because weβre not just developing dancers. Weβre helping shape the way children see themselves.
Be. Belong. Become.
β¨ Save this for a dancer who needs reminding, or share it with someone who might need to hear these words today.
